About Dr. Ashok Raju
Dr. Ashok Raju Gottemukkala is a Senior Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Hip Joint Replacement Surgeries, Revision and Failed Hip Joint Replacement Surgeries, Hip Preservation Joint Surgeries, Pelvi-Acetabulum Surgeries, Knee Joint Replacement and Fracture Fixation Surgeries.
Dr Ashok Raju graduated from University of Manipal Academy Of Higher Education and went on to do his Masters in Orthopedic Surgery from Sri Ramachandra University, Chennai and was a gold medalist from the university.
After his residency he came back to his hometown and joined Kamineni Hospital, Hyderabad as a Senior Registrar. Here he gained additional experience in Trauma, Joint Replacement, Arthroscopy, Paediatric Orthopedics and Spine.
Later he went on to do Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement at Asian Joint Reconstruction Institute (AJRI). After Fellowship he continued to work in Kamineni Hospital, Hyderabad as a Consultant for 8 years. His interest in Hip Joint made him pursue and excel in his career as a Hip Surgeon. He worked as a Senior Consultant and Chief of Hip Unit in Sunshine Hospital, Hyderabad for 5 years doing Hip Replacements & Hip Reconstruction Surgeries, Hip Preserving Surgeries and Acetabulum-Pelvic Fracture Fixations. His work in Revision Joint Replacement, Failed Joint Replacement Surgeries , Pelvis & Acetabulum and trauma involving Complex Fractures has made him a Recognized Member & National Faculty among Orthopedic Surgeons in India.
He is now presently working as the Senior Consultant and Head of Department of Orthopedics at Citizens Speciality Hospital, Financial district, Hyderabad.
Dr. Ashok Raju utilizes wide array of treatment options to best serve his patients. He works with each Patient to develop a Focused and Individualized treatment plan. His goal is to Relieve the Pain and Improve the Mobility, thereby allowing Patients to return to an Active Life.
